Overview
To access your organization settings, go to Settings → Organization in the main sidebar. The following configuration options are available:
1. Current Plan
At the top of the screen, you’ll see your current subscription plan and contact limits.
If you wish to upgrade, downgrade, or switch plans, this is where you can reach out to the CamBuildr team. We’ll help you identify the most suitable option for your organization’s needs.
2. Custom Domain
You can connect your CamBuildr instance to a custom domain (e.g. campaign.yourdomain.org), so that all your public-facing pages and apps are hosted under your own branding.
To set up:
Enter your domain in the provided field.
You will receive a set of DNS records to be added via your domain provider.
After successful configuration, a confirmation email will be sent.
Once verified, your CamBuildr instance will be accessible via the custom domain.
Note: DNS setup must be done through your external domain registrar. Follow their instructions carefully when adding A or CNAME records.
3. Root URL
The Root URL setting defines what happens when someone visits the base domain of your CamBuildr installation (e.g. https://yourname.cambuildr.com).
You can choose to:
Render a specific landing page hosted in CamBuildr
Redirect users to an external website
Default behavior: If not configured, visitors will see a 404 error page.
4. Localization
Localization settings define the default language and default country used for your organization’s workspace:
Default language: Determines the interface and content language for newly created landing pages and apps.
Default country: Affects ZIP code logic in forms, location-based event filters, and default location in maps.
These defaults apply only to new content and do not retroactively change existing pages.
5. SMS Balance and Settings
CamBuildr uses SMS for th Verified Voting via SMS TAN.
In this section, you can:
View your remaining SMS credit balance
Define the default sender name for outgoing SMS messages
Reach out to CamBuildr support if you need to purchase additional credits
For more information, refer to the help article: “Using Verified Voting”
Best Practices
Always test your Root URL setup before publishing or sharing links.
Use English as the default language unless your campaign is entirely targeted toward another language group.
If switching to a custom domain, notify your team:
Your login URL will change.
All existing landing page links will be automatically redirected to the new domain.
