Managing Legal Information in CamBuildr

This article explains how to configure the legal documents that display across your public forms, landing pages, etc. in CamBuildr.

Where to Find It

Go to Settings → Legal to access and edit your legal documents.

Available Legal Sections

  1. Imprint

    Define the legal ownership and contact details of your organization.

  2. Privacy Policy

    Required by data protection laws, this text will be linked from all CamBuildr signup forms. Make sure it includes all necessary contact and legal details to comply to legal requirements in your region.

  3. Accessibility Statement

    Provide users with information about your digital accessibility efforts.

    This text is displayed on the generated Accessibility Statement page.

Page Configuration Options

For each legal section (Imprint, Privacy Policy, Accessibility Statement), you can choose how the content is provided:

  • Text: Enter your content directly into the editor (HTML is supported).

  • External URL: Link to a legal page hosted on an external website.

  • Existing Landing Page: Link to a published CamBuildr landing page that already contains the relevant information.

  • Disabled: The section will not be displayed on public forms or pages.

Best Practices

  • Be sure to regularly review your legal content for compliance updates.

  • Use the “Open Page” button to preview the live page with the currently stored legal information.
