It's easy to import data into CamBuildr using a CSV file. In the menu, you can find the import feature under Database > People. On a wide screen (roughly 1280 px and wider) use the + Create button in the top right of the page header; in a narrower window or on a phone, the same action is the round + button in the bottom right-hand corner. Either one brings up a pop-up that allows you to add a new contact manually or upload a CSV — choose "Import CSV file".
Who can import: the "Import CSV file" option inside that pop-up is only shown to users with the import permission. Superadmins have it; the Campaigner role does not (see Which roles are available for admins?). If you only see "Export" on the People page, ask your Superadmin to run the import or to grant you the permission.

Follow the process step by step.
During the import process, you can manually define the mapping of columns to fields in Cambuildr. You can specify which columns should be stored in which fields. Columns that are not selected for import will be ignored. The email field is the only required field. The Upload button will remain grayed out and inactive until the email field has been correctly mapped.
Additionally, you must select the legal basis under which you are authorized to process the data. You can choose from the following options:
Contractual Relationship: Use this if the data subjects are members, employees, or similar (i.e., there is an existing contract).
Explicit Consent: Select this in all other cases where the individual has actively given their permission.
Public Interest: Choose this if you are processing data for reasons of public interest, e.g., for journalists.
Good to know
An import only creates people, updates the fields you map and adds tags. It never unsubscribes, blocks or deletes anyone. See CSV Import: Options for the "update" and "ignore" modes.
Every imported or updated person gets a was imported action, which can start a workflow.
