It's easy to import data into CamBuildr using a CSV file. In the menu, you can find the import feature under Database > People and hit the "+" button in the bottom left-hand corner. This will bring up a pop-up that allows you to add a new contact manually or upload a CSV. Chose "Import CSV file"
Choose the CSV file you want to import.
Follow the process step by step.
During the import process, you can manually define the mapping of columns to fields in Cambuildr. You can specify which columns should be stored in which fields. Columns that are not selected for import will be ignored. The email field is the only required field. The Upload button will remain grayed out and inactive until the email field has been correctly mapped.
Additionally, you must select the legal basis under which you are authorized to process the data. You can choose from the following options:
Contractual Relationship: Use this if the data subjects are members, employees, or similar (i.e., there is an existing contract).
Explicit Consent: Select this in all other cases where the individual has actively given their permission.
Public Interest: Choose this if you are processing data for reasons of public interest, e.g., for journalists.
