User Posts on a landing page: Teaser and Voting

Embed the User Posts wall on a landing page and let visitors vote on submissions, using the UGC Teaser and UGC Voting blocks.

Written by Domonkos Horváth

Two blocks bring your User Posts App onto a landing page: the User Posts Teaser displays submissions, and User Posts Voting lets visitors vote on them. Both require a User Posts App to be set up first, and only approved posts are shown publicly.

User Posts Teaser

Drag the block onto your page and click Edit. If you have more than one User Posts App, choose which one to show. Then configure:

  • TypeTeaser (a compact selection with a link to the full wall) or Wall (all posts).

  • Headline shown above the posts.

  • Category filter – show all categories or just one.

  • Show form – let visitors submit their own post directly from the block.

  • Image only – show post images without the text.

User Posts Voting

This block presents posts one at a time for visitors to vote on. Configure:

  • Headline and the like / dislike button labels.

  • Category – only categories that have voting enabled in the User Posts App can be selected.

  • Votes before signup (1–10) – how many times a visitor can vote before being asked to sign up.

  • Image only – show post images without the text.

Styling

Both blocks match your page using primary and secondary colours, background colour or transparency, rounded edges, and custom CSS.
