The Share Block allows your supporters to easily share a specific link across multiple social media platforms directly from your email. This helps amplify your message, drive traffic to a landing page, and activate network-based growth — with optional recruiter tracking to measure who brought whom into your campaign.
How to Configure the Share Block
Insert the block
Drag the Share block from the Content tab into your email layout.
Define the shared URL
At the top of the configuration panel (left side), enter the URL you want to be shared.
Enable or disable individual platforms
Use the toggles to activate or deactivate:
Email
Facebook
X (formerly Twitter)
LinkedIn
WhatsApp
Telegram
Customize the message per platform
For each enabled service, you can define a default message to accompany the link.
Use the placeholder %url% where the actual link should appear.
For example: Check this out – %url%
Note for Telegram: The URL must not be placed inside the message. Telegram uses a separate field for the URL automatically.
Email sharing customization
You can define both a subject line and a message body.
The user’s email client will pre-fill these fields when the Share button is clicked.
Recruiter Tracking (Optional Feature)
If Recruiter Tracking is enabled under Settings > Analytics, CamBuildr will automatically append a recruiter ID to the shared URL.
What this does:
When Person A shares a landing page and Person B clicks and takes action, the system logs Person A as the recruiter.
This is how it will show at the recruited persons (B) profil
This is how it will show at the person who has recruited a new person (A)
This allows you to:
Track who is bringing in the most supporters
Incentivize viral spread of your campaign
Personalize follow-ups based on who referred whom
Important:
Check local privacy laws before using recruiter tracking. In some jurisdictions, tracking identifiers may require user consent or opt-out mechanisms.
Display and Design
The block’s appearance (icons, spacing, alignment) can be adjusted via the Theme tab.
Icons are mobile-optimized and touch-friendly.
Make sure the target page (i.e., the shared link) includes a visually appealing link preview
Best Practices
Use a short, clean URL for best results (consider link shorteners if needed).
Test how your shared link appears on each platform (e.g. Facebook Debugger, LinkedIn Post Inspector).
Customize messages with clear CTAs (e.g. “Sign this petition” or “Join our webinar”).
If using recruiter tracking, disclose it in your privacy policy.
Consider placing the Share block after a major action or message (e.g. below a donation or signup confirmation) to prompt users at the right moment.
